Start: end of October in Vancouver/Canada, arrival: one month later in Tecate/Mexico. Between the two a distance of 5200 km during which the globetrotters Herbert Schwarz, Helge Pedersen and Ramona Eichhorn only got to touch asphalt when they fuelled their G 650 Xchallenge and HP2 Enduro bikes. Otherwise, the three experienced motorcyclists were off-road the whole way – riding on enduro tracks.
Their aim in undertaking this trip wasn’t just to experience the west coast from a different perspective: they also wanted to gain experience with especially light enduro equipment. Like the year before when they travelled though Mexico to Baja California, they had with them a well-established team consisting of drivers, photographer Arnold Debus, film-maker Wolfgang Danner and the two cameramen Jan-Peter Sölter and Jean Baptiste Höppner. They have provided a commentary on the trip for BMW Motorrad and TOURATECH, Herbert Schwarz’s company. Read the story in detail.

NEW this year: Herbert Schwarz and Ramona Eichhorn regularly commented on their experiences each day exclusively for EnduroWorld. These were recorded in unusual locations such as a men’s toilet in the middle of the wilderness. Curious? Simply subscribe or listen to each episode individually.
