HP stands for High Performance. And this means no compromise, a reduction to the essentials and a clear orientation to a single purpose. For the HP2 Enduro this means 105 bhp, 175 kg dry weight.
The HP2 Enduro is the most uncompromising serial production off-road flat twin ever: light, robust, enormously powerful and at home anywhere the terrain is tough. Whether knee-deep in desert sand, in deep grooves or on gravel tracks with fist-sized stones, the HP2 Enduro moves as if on rails.
You can see the sign of the off-road pro at first sight: the completely newly developed, fully adjustable chassis, the new pneumatic spring damper system which uses the same air for damping and suspension, and the torsionally stiff tubular space frame make the HP2 Enduro a true professional for the type of terrain many bikers can only look at from a distance.
Other key features are the special combination of wide footrests and narrow seat. Here, the extreme biker has all the leg play he needs for shifting weight – especially over technically demanding passages – so as to be able to get through the toughest terrain with minimum power. Maximum traction is provided by the damper system and the flat twin engine, which has been specially optimised for off-road use. It responds spontaneously, and even at low engine speeds it pumps so much power into the rear wheel that the HP2 Enduro moves inexorably forward even when idling.
There is nothing more you could wish for if you prefer extremes to extended tours in remote corners of the earth...
