HP2 Enduro - Passion for Performance

105 bhp, 175 kg dry weight - the HP2 Enduro is the most uncompromising series production offroad boxer ever built. It is characterised by its extremely robust design and is perfectly prepared for its area of use. Impressively powerful and truly fascinating to ride.

The fully adjustable suspension is a completely new development. It consists of the upside down fork at the front with travel-related damping (WAD) and the BMW Motorrad Air Damping System at the rear, a spring-damper system which operates with air only and which provides outstanding traction. A further benefit of the Air Damping System is its low weight (it weighs almost 2 kg less than a conventional spring strut).
Weight was also removed from the silencer and the engine which now generates 105 bhp without balancer shaft and with altered mapping. The beefy, high-torque engine with its flat twin typical low centre of gravity and the soft power delivery support the playfully easy handling on any surface.

The highly rigid tubular space frame harks back to the rally boxers of former times. Many other design details also reveal the signature of true offroad professionals. Reinforced gearbox, perfect ergonomics featuring an especially slim tank-seat bench combination, wide footrests and adjustable handlebars, partially translucent fuel tank, solid-colour plastics parts, folding spacer piece on the foot brake lever to adapt the riding position to either seated or standing, straight-forward spring strut adjustment using a high-pressure pump, removable side indicator and licence plate holder unit, headlamp holder as rescue handle - with all these big and small features the HP2 Enduro demonstrates its uncompromising properties and the exclusive love of detail which characterise a High Performance model by BMW Motorrad.

With the HP2 17" Street-Wheelset, this motorcycle is transformed into a real asphalt runner: 17-inch road tyres and a brake adapted to the higher level of road grip ensure a fiery performance on surfaced roads.
