They apply their extraordinarily honed skills and unconditional motivation to demonstrate just what the new K 1200 R is capable of, before the backdrop of the seven major MotoGP events. The professional teams come from Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Austria, Spain, the Czech Republic and the USA and all of those involved are one hundred percent behind their riders. Their skilful racing tactics are sure to make for great excitement every inch of the way to the finishing line. As in all races of this kind, the field will be supplemented by guest participants - top international riders from the world of motorcycle racing - who will be entering the contest as VIP riders using works motorcycles. The nations with the greatest representation this year are Spain with five teams, and Germany with four, but for all those taking part, there is just one common goal - to score as highly as possible on the track, in a tough but fair contest. The BMW Motorrad Power Cup 2005 will be rewarding the overall winners of the season with particularly attractive additional prizes. The overall winner will receive a BMW 630i Coupé, the one finishing in second place will receive a BMW X3 2.0d and the rider coming in third will be awarded a BMW motorcycle.
