What a great season that was in 2002! The BoxerCup offered fascinating top-level motorbike racing action right from the first race in Donington (GB). Eight races, seven winners from seven nations - the high-class racing action BMW Motorrad BoxerCup could not have been any more impressive and exciting. At the season's final in Magny Cours (F), before the legendary Bol d'Or race, the lucky overall winner Stéphane Mertens (B) received the BMW M coupe as his award with packed stands looking on. Naturally the event will continue in the 2003 season, too.

The opening race of the third international edition of the BMW Motorrad BoxerCup 2003 will take place on March 9th in Daytona (USA) directly prior to the 200 Miles of Daytona. The nine races of the 2003 season will be the highlights in the fringe program at the Motorbike GP World Championship Races as well as Endurance and Superbike events.

Naturally, renowned racing personalities will take part as guest riders in the coming season too. Look forward to some fascinating racing action and breath-taking battles for position on the agile and technically outstanding R 1100 S. In the world's highest prize money motorbike brand cup, the first 3 of the overall season receive (1.) a BMW M 3 coupé, (2.) a Mini Cooper S and (3.) a BMW R 1150 RT.
