1973: BMW Motorrad celebrates its anniversary

50 years after the start of BMW motorcycle history in 1923, the 500,000th machine comes off the production line. BMW is rightfully proud of this anniversary, with the crisis of the fifties and sixties having been endured with flying colours. Chairman of the Board Bob Lutz is once again able to present superb figures for the motorcycle division.
