You will find the best pictures of the spectacular programme here in the review. The motorcycle fans were especially thrilled by the world premiere of the HP2 Enduro. The action-packed show races of the enduro cracks not only stunned the enduro riders among the guests. Fans celebrated a fitting anniversary with the special exhibition "25 years of GS". Anyone who felt like going round some bends quickly signed up for the guided test ride on the new BMW motorcycle models or took part in the ride-outs through the most scenic touring regions of the Alpine foothills on his or her own bike. On location visitors could find out how the current races of the motorcycle brand cup with the highest prize money are going from the riders themselves at the presentation of the BMW Motorrad Power Cup 2005. The fashion show featuring the current collection of BMW Motorrad rider equipment with the grandiose dancing show was a real success. Thrilling film presentations on fascinating GS enduro travels were shown in the Travel Point Tent. The great parties in the beer tent backed by live music from the Högl Fun Band and of course the legendary "Blechblos'n" finally had everyone jumping. If you felt like some more action after a short night you headed out to the "Almfest" next morning on the "Hausberg" where the most daring participants went on a tandem paraglider flight. Michael Martin presented his stunning slide show "Deserts of the Earth" in the afternoon to great applause. And even the most seasond bikers were impressed by the special feel of the big motorcycle parade with more than 1000 participants. Things were a bit quieter on Sunday morning at the Bavarian "Frühschoppen" round of early drinks with a biker's church service. The most beautiful models from 80 years of BMW Motorrad history thundered past the fans in a classic Biker parade - a very good ending to a superb event with great guests from all over the world! |
