| There was a great deal of action and excitement at the 3. International BMW Motorrad Biker Meeting. The program had thrills in store for everyone. BMW Motorrad presented itself in a series of different historical and current exhibitions. The absolute highlight was the historical review "80 years of BMW Motorad" featuring special exhibits from the brand's history. Guided tours in the foothillls of the alps were of course also part of the program. Many visitors used the opportunity for a one-hour test ride with the latest models. As always, visitors were greatly thrilled by the stunt rides of 007 double J.-P. Goy, the fashion shows featuring the latest BMW Motorrad rider equipment collection and the impressive open air slide presentation by the travel photographer Michael Martin. All adventure-minded visitors were in for a thrill ride on the BMW Moorrad paraglider twin flight. These lucky braves saw the Biker Meeting from above too! The party reached its climax in the beer tent in the evening with people dancing on the table when the "Bleckblos'n" live band stirred up the crowd. Visitors were able to catch their breath when the anniversary fireworks began. On Saturday the biker party was accompanied by the Miller's Connection band. Visitors from all over the world talked shop by the campfire and exchanged tips and travel routes. Sunday began in style with an authentic Bavarian "Weißwurst" breakfast followed by a biker 's church service. In the early afternoon 80 historical BMW motorcycles started off the motorcycle parade. Then many visitors began heading for home or used the opportunity of riding into the alpine motorcycling paradise. |
