| It was a very special weekend: from 5th to 7th July, motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the world gathered in Garmisch-Partenkirchen for the 2nd International BMW Motorrad Biker Meeting. In 2002, the Alps in southern Bavaria formed the impressive backdrop for a spectacular programme complete with great performances, parties, music, slide-shows and a host of other activities focussing on the motorcycles. Over 20,000 people came to experience three days of BMW Motorrad up close.
